This past weekend, on May 10, 2025, the YBA HCM Pickleball Tournament 2025 – TRUNG HAU CUP took place with great excitement at The Dinker Club courts (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City). The event brought together 192 athletes representing a diverse range of participants: city leaders, members of the Young Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City (YBA HCM), various business associations, Young Entrepreneurs Associations from provinces including Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa…, lecturers and alumni of HCMC University of Technology, as well as numerous entrepreneurs, artists, and players from clubs nationwide.

The tournament proudly welcomed distinguished guests, including:

• Nguyen Tuan Quynh – Chairman of Saigon Books

• Ly Quy Trung – Founder of Pho 24

• Renowned artists: Meritorious Artist Quoc Co, actors Huy Khanh, Minh Luan, singer Titi, beauty queen Dang Yen, actors Loi Tran, Bich Ngoc, Tan Tre, Le Nam…

• MCs and performing artists: Nguyen Khang (opening ceremony), singer On Vinh Quang, and MC Hong Phuong (awards gala)

With 220 thrilling matches across two categories – Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles – the tournament became a signature sports event for HCMC’s young business community. Beyond celebrating fair play, dynamism, and connection, Trung Hau Cup 2025 also served as a meaningful activity commemorating the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

The tournament also carried a humanitarian mission, as part of the event budget was allocated to the charity project “Entrepreneurs’ Bridge – Huu Duyen Bridge” in Ham Tan Commune, Tra Vinh Province. During the Gala Night, the organizers raised over 200 million VND to contribute to building a community bridge, improving local transportation and livelihoods.
