In harmony with the atmosphere of activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20th, on November 7th, 2020, at the campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach Khoa), over 250 alumni from the class of Bach Khoa Construction 2000 gathered from all corners of the country under the beloved roof of their alma mater.

“To depart is to return!” Twenty years ago, those strangers first met under the roof of Bach Khoa University. Through the ups and downs of student life filled with pride and the long journey of building their careers, today these individuals joyfully returned with gratitude and jubilation. With the motto “Connect – Share – Strengthen,” the alumni of Bach Khoa Construction 2000 created a profoundly meaningful, dignified, and humane commemorative event.

The event was attended by the university’s administration, professors who had taught the Construction 2000 class, Mr. Tran Ba Duong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thaco Group and Chairman of the Alumni Liaison Board of Phu Tho – Bach Khoa Alumni Community, Mr. Vo Dai Khoi – Chairman of the Board of Directors/CEO of Trung Hau Group and Vice Chairman of the Alumni Liaison Board of Phu Tho – Bach Khoa Alumni Community, along with over 250 alumni from the Construction 2000 class who currently hold key positions in various governmental agencies and businesses.

The successful series of events fostered meaningful connections among alumni, between alumni and their professors, and also led to the establishment of the Alumni Liaison Board for the Construction 2000 class under the Phu Tho – Bach Khoa Alumni Community.

Activities included football and tennis matches, expressing gratitude to professors, focusing on support for Central Vietnam, and a gala dinner.
