Given the complex and potentially prolonged situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an increasing demand for epidemic prevention equipment, leading to shortages. The possibility of shortages in healthcare facilities and communities is a real concern. Healthcare workers are at the frontline of the battle against the pandemic, directly involved in screening, quarantine, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diverse patient populations, thus facing a high risk of Covid-19 infection. Therefore, ensuring the safety of healthcare workers is paramount, making them the most in need of medical masks and protective gear.

To timely support and care for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially households in quarantined areas, Trung Hau Company has implemented initiatives to assist these affected communities in acquiring essential supplies such as food and necessities.

Recognizing the need for solidarity and support in the fight against the pandemic, Trung Hau Company, together with Honda Phat Tien Investment Corporation and Hoa Lu – Hue Investment Corporation, organized the donation of 1000 sets of epidemic prevention clothing and 2000 high-quality N95 Promax medical masks that meet European standards to the special task force combating the pandemic at the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital, and distributed 214 gifts to families affected by quarantine in Hue. They also collaborated with YBA in the “Zero Dong Supermarket” program to support impoverished individuals facing hardships due to the pandemic.

Furthermore, the company is currently planning further support for hospitals in provinces and districts of Ho Chi Minh City with high numbers of infections, aiming to provide as much assistance as possible in terms of purchasing food and supplying essential goods to healthcare staff facing difficulties during the Covid-19 outbreak.

In compliance with Directive 16, Trung Hau Company has suspended construction projects, significantly affecting the company’s income. However, safeguarding the health of doctors and healthcare workers is deemed more crucial and vital in this battle against the pandemic.

It is hoped that these contributions will serve as a source of encouragement and provide additional strength to ensure the safety of doctors and healthcare workers.
