On January 3rd, 2023, Trung Hau Group organized the Annual Review and Year-End Party for 2022 at MERPERLE CRYSTAL PALACE in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Throughout the past year, Trung Hau’s business operations were conducted across three main sectors: construction contracting, manufacturing, and investment.
- In the construction sector in 2022, the company successfully delivered the following projects: Asia Dragon Synthetic Fiber Production Plant (Tan Tao Industrial Park), GSP Thai An Pharmaceutical Storage Facility (Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park), and Fremed Pharmaceutical Production Plant, Functional Food Production, and Goods Warehouse (Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park). The company also initiated new construction projects such as the Ritar Power Vietnam Factory phase 5 (Tay Ninh), the 44-unit Row House Project (Binh Phuoc), the Loi Phat Livestock Farm (Binh Phuoc), and notably, the design and construction of the Suoi Voi Ecotourism Area (Hue) where Trung Hau is involved as both investor and main contractor.
- In the manufacturing sector, Mekong Furniture (MKF) completed production orders from the 2021-2022 season, exporting over 50 containers out of the total 135 containers signed. Moving into the new season of 2022-2023, MKF signed orders for 123 containers, equivalent to 117,000 units of products. Revenue for the 2022-2023 season increased by 15%, with a 20% rise in production compared to the previous season. As of December 31, 2022, MKF had shipped 60 containers, fulfilling 50% of the signed orders and achieving 98% of the set target plan.
- Additionally, the management team of the manufacturing plant also studied and planned to expand into the domestic market, alongside existing exports to international markets.
- In the investment sector, apart from leasing Warehouse No. 1 (Long An), Trung Hau is actively involved in investing in the Suoi Voi Project (Huế), an ecotourism project presenting new challenges and opportunities in the company’s investment activities. Phase 1 of the Suoi Voi Ecotourism Area spans 11 hectares out of a total planned area of 52 hectares, set to commence operations in Q3/2023.
- Trung Hau continues to prioritize the well-being of its employees with regular activities such as International Women’s Day on March 8th, International Children’s Day on June 1st, and Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20th, organized consistently by the Human Resources Administration department. Furthermore, the company maintains various welfare policies for its employees. Additionally, Trung Hau actively participates in community programs with the Young Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City (YBA) and educational activities with the Bach Khoa University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
In 2023, Trung Hau’s leadership anticipates more challenges ahead and has outlined strategic directions to adapt to these changes:
– Continuing to upgrade all machinery and devising a business strategy aligned with the current infrastructure.
– Expanding market share in the construction sector through strategic partnerships, aiming for long-term sustainability.
– In the manufacturing sector, implementing a pilot program in the first year as part of the domestic market development strategy.
– For investment, the leadership aims to commence operations at the Suoi Voi ecotourism site (Q3/2023) and launch the second factory (Q4/2023).
Closing out 2022 amidst complex fluctuations, with meticulous planning from the leadership and steadfast commitment from all employees, Trung Hau is prepared for 2023.
